Meet Hfm 1k who is native from Indiana and staying in Texas. He is a 19 year old rapper who entered the music scene just 3 months ago.
Hfm 1k was the kid in school that was always free styling. This is when he discovered his passion for music. He remembers hearing from his friends, “you gonna be a rapper when you get older”, but at the time he had never seen himself making music. He thought of his free styling as just a hobby, and it wouldn’t be until high school that he would enter a studio for the first time.
Around the end of his senior year in high school, Hfm 1k had a couple of friends who were making music in a studio. After graduating high school, he joined his friends in the studio and he’s only seen progress since then. Now he records and mixes all of his own music. Quoted in an interview with Hfm 1k, “I’m not that good yet but I believe in investing in something that you want to do is the best way to succeed”. He released his first song titled “Mean it” around the new year of 2021.
Hfm 1k’s main style of music is hip hop, but he doesn’t want to put himself under just one genre because he enjoys all types of music. He isn’t just a rapper, he is an artist. As soon as he enters a professional studio, he plans to explore all types of music. He is inspired by other artists such as Toosi, Gunna, JID, Eminem, J Cole, 6lack, and several others. Although Hfm 1k is just getting into the rap scene, he doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon.
