Chip Chelios is a 25 year old artist hailing from Kyrgyz Republic, Kyrgyzstan.
He first began making music at an early age of 15. Starting as a teenager, he has been creating music ever since. He creates under the Hip-Hop genre, however he branches off with his own unique style.
Chip Chelios’s most successful track is titled “Malaysian Highway”. He wrote this song while he was studying in Malaysia during 2017. It became very popular throughout Russia and Ukraine.
Chip Chelios mostly listens to Western Hip Hop. He is inspired by several other notable artists, some of which include Lil Baby, Meek Mill, Logic, and Jack Harlow. He does music in English in Central Asia. He is helping to spread the language in his area helping the youth to learn more about the Western world. He uses Hip Hop to teach the English language. Quoted from an interview, “I truly believe that if someone can repeat the words under the mic several times they can absorb it fast and start speaking, music is a powerful tool”.
Music has been a way for Chip Chelios to meet several friends from around the world and he has also had the opportunity to monetize on several aspects of his musical career. He mentioned that his area is under influence by Russian geopolitics and that they are teaching the youth the wrong methodology of the English language. He is willing to speak up to reform and teach the youth the right way.
Also quoted from an interview, “Why am I doing this? Because our country is on the way to collapse if we don’t pay attention to our own language the younger generation is brainwashed and talking only in Russian language.” He believes that learning the English language is the way to succeed. Chip Chelios is in the works of more music, and there is more in store for him in the future. We are excited to see what comes next.
