Meet Michael Stack who hails from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Michael goes under the stage name Dop3stac$$ and he began doing music professional about 2 years ago.
Dop3stac$$ started doing music because he was at a point in his life where he had lost everything. He found music to be his outlet to be able to cope with these hardships in his life. Music allowed him to release his emotion and cope with his circumstances at the time. Although his musical career started off as a hobby, it soon became apparent to him that he should pursue it as a career. His style of music goes under the genre of new age rap and hip hop, however it mostly comes from his own voice and feeling out his style. He describes his music as something new, and something different.
His most successful track was dropped on Spotify during the summer of 2020, titled “Wait til I’m rich”. Throughout the lyrics of this song he is responding to everyone who has doubted him with his career. This track amassed over 50,000 plays within the first week of the drop. It went worldwide in 19 different countries. He was able to team up with a local producer named Maca to make this track possible. Some artists that inspire Dop3stac$$ are Emily Chop, Lil Skies, and Kevin Gates. Each of these artists speaks to him in a different way, inspiring him throughout his early career.
Not only is Dop3stac$$ an artist but he is also a business man. He understands the business within the industry and every move he makes is an investment to for career. He is proud of his hometown in Colorado and is always looking for ways to give back to his community.
