Meet Joseph Meier, also known by his stage name Joey Nunz, who is a 25 year old recording artist hailing from Englewood, Colorado.
Joey Nunz first began creating music when he was in 3rd grade, after being handed a recorder by his music teacher. He learned that he had a natural talent for reading and playing music. Eventually, he began playing for the Colorado Symphony in 5th grade. He started playing the drums in middle school and recorded his first track at 14. He got into rapping at the age of 17 and started taking music seriously at ages 18–19 as he found music to be not only his passion but his calling.
Joey Nunz most successful track to date is titled “(AWAY) FROM LUST”. Other tracks that he found successful in various ways were “Weeping” and “Drug Abuse”. There are several notable artists whom inspire him, some of which include Usher, Young Money, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Kendrick Lamar.
A note from the artist: “I took a year off and just had my son, but I came back two weeks ago today, and have already achieved more statistically than the other local artists around me. I speak and breathe this stuff. Be on the lookout, I haven’t even touched the beginning of the beginning yet.”
