Meet Isaiah Watson, also known by his stage name JstZay, who is an upcoming recording artist hailing from Phoenix, Arizona.
JstZay first began creating music during the year 2020. He has had a love and appreciation for music ever since early childhood, and enjoyed freestyling with his friends for fun. It wasn’t until recently that he began taking writing and recording more seriously, using it as a way to bring people closer to Christ.
JstZay creates music under the Rap and R&B genres. His favorite track by him to date is titled “Vision”. Quoted from an interview, “My last track, “Vision” was probably my most meaningful… I went through a time in my life where I had felt I lost everything…relationships…trust…you name it and I finally surrendered my all to God and I’m reflecting on how it’s been since and to sum all up in one word that would be nothing but BLESSINGS.
There are several notable artists whom inspire JstZay, some of which include Lecrae, Trip Lee, Andy Mineo, KB, and several others.
A note from the artist: I just want everyone to know that there’s hope through Christ. No matter what the circumstances or things you’re going through. My freshman year in high school my mom was diagnosed with a very aggressive type of breast cancer and that hit me hard all in the same year I lost my grandpa as well as my nana… It was a hard year then fast forward a couple years I nearly lost it all. Thru that it wasn’t until I turned to him and really surrendered my life did a complete 180 my mom is 6 years cancer free! My relationships and my life is restored. Life hits different when you are in Gods will.
