Jreynn, also known by his stage name J-REN is a 27 year old recording artist hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He first began creating music around the age of 14. Initially he started off by writing down lyrics and poems. He then felt inspired to turn this into music, thus entering the rap scene.
Quoted from an interview, “I’m trying to redefine the melodic rap genre that’s been present over the past five years”. He creates music under the Hip-Hol and RnB genres, fusing both sounds together.
J-REN’s most successful track to date is titled “POWER IN TWO$”, which is was mixed and mastered from his phone. There are several notable artists whom inspire him, some of which include Kanye West, J Cole, and Kendrick Lamar.
He is mostly inspired by fellow friends who also are musical artists, some of which include Landon Thomas, Hazel Bey, Mike J, Dreauto, and LayOh.
