Meet Eddie Wilson the fourth, also known by his stage name 4Time$, hailing from Chicago, Illinois. The 4 in his stage name comes from him being the 4th generation of Eddie Wilson.
He first began creating music just two years ago, back in 2019. Using melodies and lyrics to express him self, he’s been able to use music as an outlet in life. 4Time$ mentioned in an interview that he had situations and hardships going on in life, and he would use music as a way to get through these times. Music played a role in helping him express different emotions that he would be feeling at the time. As he wrote more and more lyrics, he proceeded to record his first single.
Having developed his musical style over time, he has found himself to be creating music mainly under the Hip-Hop genre. A more specific genre for him would be Gangster and Melody rap, however he has no problem doing most styles as he is a very versatile artist.
4Time$ most successful track is titled “Bohlin”. This has amassed more streams across all platforms than any of his other songs. However we will be expecting more hits in the future. Inspired by iconic artists such as Nipsey Hussle, Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West, he continues to work on his craft. This is just the beginning for 4Time$ with much more in store for his future.
