Chrisdmyrapname, aka Chris D, is an upcoming rapper hailing from Augusta, Georgia and currently residing outside Houston, Texas.
He first took an interest in music at the early age of 10. He grew up listening to Tupac, Biggie, UGK, No Limit, and Cash Money. It wasn’t until the age of 15 that he started writing and recording his own music.
Chris D creates music under the Rap genres. He stands out compared to several newer artists by not singing and harmonizing his lyrics. He is mainly inspired by artists who he’s witnessed progression in.
He is an independent artist who works hard to get around many stuggles new artists face. Quoted from an interview, “The independent route is very hard especially when your doing everything from the ground up and run into road blocks, people taking advantage of you in the industry”. This is just the beginning for Chris D and his musical career and we are looking forward to seeing where he goes next.
