Meet G’dUpMali, who is a 21 year old recording artist hailing from Southeast San Diego.
G’dUpMali first began creating music in 2019 but it wasn’t until 2020 that he began dropping his work. After his father, Paydaboy, passed away in 2019 G’dUpMali decided that he wanted to keep his legacy alive through creating music. Honoring his father he has been making music ever since
G’dUpMali creates music under the Hip Hop and Rap genres. He mentioned in an interview that he created a west coast/east coast flow because he used to live in Maryland. Moving from Maryland to San Diego he has experience with both realms, merging both styles to create his own unique style.
G’dUpMali’s most successful track to date is titled “Treachrous”. It has more streams than any of his other songs. Next up would be his song “Goons” featuring DayRuthh which gains a lot of traction from his fans.
