Meet Billy Williams, also known by his stage name WildBill, who is an upcoming recording artist hailing from Breaux Bridge, Lousiana.
He first began creating music at the beginning of the 2021, around 7 months ago. After having an interest in Hip Hop since an early age, WildBill was inspired to enter the music scene. He mentioned in an interview that it had been a part of his culture, growing up in low income housing.
WildBill creates music under a new genre that is similar to Country Rap and Cajun Rap. His most successful track to date it titled Country Cut. The song describes his culture and various struggles they face. Quoted in an interview, “Some people laugh at our way of living but never come try us”. The song accumulated over 6,000 views and was a local hit in the 337 area.
There are several notable artists whom inspire WildBill, some of which include Jellyroll, Eminem, Pimp C, Soulja Slim, Z Ro, and most of all, his children. Lastly mentioned in an interview, “I’m really trying to introduce the 337 area of Lousiana, we have our own world here and I think people would be interested”.
