Meet upcoming artist Marcus Kemper, also known by his stage name Yung K3, who is a 17 year old artist hailing from Port Arthur, Texas.
He first began creating music back in September of 2020, after his uncle had passed away. He felt inspired by his uncle along with his family to begin making music. He wanted people to be able to hear his pain through the messages he puts in his songs. It was a way for him to cope and keep going.
Yung K3 creates music under the Hip Hop and R&B genres. His most successful track is titled “Sinners Love”. Quoted from an interview, “The song was created behind a hard broke up that I still have problems with that led me into trauma and depression, if you listen closely you can hear that I know fake love is real”.
There are several notable artists whom inspire Yung K3, some of which include his father Yung Messiah, his brother Cirxc, Pimp C, Bun B, and Stack5. He has a single that drops on April 2nd of this year. He is also in the works of a clothing brand. This is just the beginning for Yung K3 and we are excited to see where he ends up.
